These vintage aprons, known as maekake, were worn by shop workers. Made of thick cotton, the name of the store is emblazoned across the front. The background colour is indigo navy blue. It has a lovely graphic brand logo.
As you can see from the pictures there is prominent flaw such as a slight mark. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'. This maekake apron has a sense of use, but it is an amazing piece to enjoy vintage taste of Japan!
The logo says ‘Karashizuke’ (Japanese pickles).
