This women’s meisen silk haori kimono jacket has a bold and dramatic big silvery white and green botan (peony) flower and red leave motif design in fantastic green. The contrast of the all colours is so dramatic. I love it.This kimono jacket is rather long for a haori with long sleeves which is typical of the Taisho era (early 1900s) style. The texture has lovely light crispness. It has an elegant orange botan (peony) design in lining. Abracadabra is such an attractive antique piece.
It has some discolouring, stains and certain wear but as a whole, it is in good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
