This purple kinsha (fine crepe) silk haori kimono jacket has a soft and smooth touch in a good quality of silk with a really cool flying kamome (seagulls) and horizon design. The haori also has a fantastic inko (parakeet) and exotic pattern in the lining.
It is rather long for a haori which is typical of the Taisho era (early 1900s) style. It also would be stunning to display as a decorative piece for a room. Seagulls haori jacket is a really attractive antique piece.
It has certain wear, but as a whole, it is in very good condition. Please check the detail photos and 'Extra Images'.
