This is a women's kinsha (fine crepe) silk jyuban (underkimono) which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with yellow and white tsuru (crane) motif in smashing orange which I really love. It also has shibori (tie-dyed) pattern of kasumi (mist) motif. The oriental red colour of the lining is just beautiful. Flock of Cranes is such an enchanting antique piece.
It has certain wear and some flaws including small stains and a hole on the front right chest in the lining. It is slightly worn out with the bottom of the lining and around the collar of the kimono getting slightly thin. Otherwise the kimono is in pretty good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
Note: This kimono does not come with a belt. If you would like one, please check my casual obi collection on casual-obi-belt.html. Prices start from £7 or £8 for a belt.
