This is a beautiful ladies kinsha (fine crepe) silk kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with a fantastic floral pattern all over in a salmon pink. The design of the flowers is enchanting. The flowers are botan (peony), kiku (chrysanthemum), ume (plum), momiji (maple), tsubaki (camellia), ayame (iris) and tachibana (mandarin orange).
Some parts are embroidered with gold-couching and decorated with gold-speckled and pressed metallic leaf. It has a refining classic jacquard design and a bachi-eri (folded lapel). The lining is red silk, typical of the Taisho Era (early 1900s). It has a mon (family crest) in the centre of the back at the neck. The symbol of the mon is Gosan no Kiri mon (Three paulownia leaves and flowers). Pink Dynasty is a really elegant and attractive antique piece.
