These vintage aprons, known as maekake, were worn by shop workers. Made of thick cotton, the name of the store is emblazoned across the front. The background colour is indigo navy blue. It has a lovely graphic company logo.
As you can see the pictures there are prominent flaws such as stains and fraying. Please refer to the photos. This maekake apron has a sense of use, but it is an amazing piece to enjoy vintage taste of Japan!
The logo says ‘Yamauchi Touryou’ (ceramics material and glaze). This maekake apron has a pocket at the right front.
