This women’s antique silk kimono has a real ‘Taisho Roman’ feel (Taisho era, early 1900s) which I love very much! The design is classic Japanese vibrant Asa no ha (hemp leaf) patterns and turquoise and black stripes in vivid retro oriental red. The contrast of those all colours is really attractive. The lining is in ivory cotton. Zigeunerweisen is definitely a special piece.
The kimono is a very old piece from c.1910 - 1930s with certain wear. It has marks and small holes especially around the above of the chest. I hope the the kimono will find nice new home witch loves real antique. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
Note: This kimono does not come with a belt. If you would like one, please check my casual obi collection on casual-obi-belt.html. Prices start from £7 or £8 for a belt.
