This is an elegant women's pale milky brown silk kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in a good quality of silk with a fantastic hand painted design of botan (peony), kiku (chrysanthemum), ume (plum), sasa no ha (bamboo leaf) and classic Japanese pattern. Some parts such as centre of the flowers are embroidered. Also the kimono has beautiful classic jacquard pattern all over.
The kimono has a mon (family crest) centre back at the neck. The symbol of the mon is Gosan no Kiri mon (Three paulownia leaves and flowers). The lapel is bachi-eri (folded lapel). The top lining is red silk, typical of the Taisho Era and the bottom is pale orange silk. Amazing Grace is a glamorous antique piece.
The model is about 157cm (5’2”).
