This is a women’s kinsha (fine crepe) silk kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with fantastic white shibori (tie-dyed) ume (plum) and pink take (bamboo) motif design. The kimono also has fabulous ougi (fan) jacquard pattern all over and red silk lining. The design of the collar is beautiful kiku (chrysanthemum) flowers.
It would be amazing to wear and also display as a decorative piece for a room. Love My Way is a wonderful antique piece.
It has some flaws and certain wear including slight marks, smudges and an about 1.5 cm hole at the back left bottom but as a whole it is in a pretty good condition for the age. The kimono has been carefully repaired in a couple of places. I guess that the original owner of the kimono loved it very much. Please check the detail photos and 'Extra Images'.
