This is a women's elegant silvery white kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with beautiful colourful tree and flower motif pattern. It also has gorgeous momiji (maple), ume (plum) and water stream jacquard design. The lining is in pale pink silk. The lapel is bachi-eri (folded lapel). White Night is such an attractive vintage piece.
The kimono would be stunning to wear as a dress and also as a decorative art piece for a room.
I try to show you as accurate colours as possible but it's not always easy in a photo so the real colour might be slightly different from the pictures. I think the real colour is much more beautiful.
This kimono is quite long. Please check the measurement. You may need to have a bit of tuck at your waist with this length of kimono unless you are very tall. You can adjust the length by using a koshihimo (a cord tied around the waist of a womans kimono to hold it in place). Koshihimo is available for £4. Please ask for more details.
It has certain wear and some marks, but as a whole it is in a pretty good condition for the aged pale colour kimono like this. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
