This is a rare antique fireman’s chirimen (crepe silk) jacket. Fireman's jackets are usually made of very tough cotton for their work so I guess this is a sort of a special jacket for a special occasion.
The design of flames and a bell looks fantastic! Also it has really lovely warm soft texture and colour of antique indigo lining.

This silk fireman’s jacket would be stunning to wear for men and women or great display as a decorative piece for a room. It would be a smashing piece for collectors.

Canon Ball is a real rare piece and stylish antique piece.

It has some flaws and certain wear including stain, fray, hole and tear. However it is such a amazing piece! The jacket has been carefully repaired in a number of places. I guess the original owner of the jacket loved it very much. Please check the detailed photos.
