This is a women’s chirimen (crepe) silk jyuban (underkimono) which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with bold red water splash and colourful water drops like design or could be red Ivy like plant with colourful dewdrops?!…all over in lovely off white. I love the pattern ♡ The colour contrast of red, cherry blossom pink and pale sky blue is really pretty and cheerful. It has a bachi-eri (folded lapel) and the lining is in off white silk.
It would be stunning to wear and also display as a decorative piece for a room. Mary Poppins is such a charming and attractive antique piece.
It has certain wear and some marks, but as a whole it is in a pretty good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
