This is a fantastic women's red chirimen (crepe) silk jyuban (underkimono) which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with flying tsuru (crane), botan (peony), ume (plum), tachibana (mandarin orange), kikyo (Chinese bellflower) and water stream pattern.
The lining is in red silk. The lapel is bachi-eri (folded lapel).
Originally the sleeves were longer but the previous owner preferred them taken in so there is room for long about 19.5cm (7 3/4"") if you'd like.

Cloud Nine is such a charming and gorgeous antique kimono. It would be stunning to wear as a dress and also as a decorative art piece for a room.

I try to show you as accurate colours as possible but it's not always easy in a photo so the real colour might be slightly different from the pictures.

It has certain wear and some marks including mark around back bottom, but as a whole it is in a pretty good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.

Note: This kimono does not come with a belt. If you would like one, please check my casual obi collection on casual-obi-belt.html. Prices start from £8 or £10 for a belt.
