This is a women's fabulous oriental red rinzu (figured satin) silk jyuban (underkimono) which has a soft and smooth touch satin like with gorgeous kiku (chrysanthemum) and tsuru (crane) jacquard pattern. The lapel is bachi-eri (folded lapel) and the lining is in red silk blend.

It would be fantastic to wear as a dress and also as a decorative art piece for a room. Carmen is a gorgeous attractive antique piece.

It has some flaws and certain wear including about 1cm repair at the below the back right shoulder. Also It is slightly worn out with the part getting thin, but as a whole, it is in good condition for the age. I guess that the original owner of the kimono loved the kimono very much. Please check the detail photos and 'Extra Images'.

Note: This kimono does not come with a belt. If you would like one, please check my casual obi collection on casual-obi-belt.html. Prices start from £8 or £10 for a belt.
